How It Works

With the TLC200, you can capture the progress of anything that experiences change over time. The camera takes thousands of photos at your chosen time interval and converts them into a short timelapse video (AVI format).

How the TLC200 Time Lapse HD Video Camera Works

The TLC200 features a high-quality lens for targeting your subject. The lens can be rotated up to 120 degrees for easy framing, and the camera supports an optional wide angle lens (sold separately), allowing you to achieve the best view possible. The TLC200 also supports the Shutter Line accessory (sold separately), which adds the ability to create stop motion videos.

Choose Any Time Interval

Each photo is taken at one of eight pre-selected time interval options (1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, Custom, ASAP). These settings are selected simply by choosing your desired time through the LCD viewfinder. In its eighth ASAP mode, the camera captures two photos each second – perfect for capturing very quick changes and playing them back slowly.

Create TimeLapse Videos

Photos are saved to the SD card in AVI format with time and date stamps. Once your subject has finished changing, or you’ve captured enough photos over time, stop recording to create your custom timelapse video.

The camera sits on a flat surface or mounts on a tripod, and operates on four AA batteries. To save battery power, the camera sleeps between photos and can be programmed to stop taking photos when it’s too dark out. This energy-saving design allows the batteries to last up to six months, supporting up to 300,000 frames.
